• Tracfone Texting

I just got the LG Classic Flip with tracfone and it works great. For some reason though Yeshiva world texts and Kol Haolam texts aren't working. Did anyone else have the same problem and does anyone have an eitza?

    BochurBrains I had that problem too. I think it has something to do with an attachment that they send (which the phone doesn't seem to recognize).
    Since you've signed up before you had your classic you won't receive texts.
    What worked for me, was to set a Google voice number to forward to your phone, and then sign up to kol haolam with google voice. This should cause you to receive the attachment, and then it should work normally. You can then unlink/unsubscribe your Google voice number.
    If it doesn't work, then at least you'll get the texts through Google voice.

        For some reason by me it doesnt let me flip the switch to forward my texts to my phone....

          Jumptoheaven How do i unlink my google voice number? Also how would unlinking still allow me to get the texts if it is not then linked through google voice?

            BochurBrains Make sure your phone is set as a mobile phone in the Google voice settings and not a landline, you may need to go into the legacy version to do that, once you change that you should have an option to forward texts
