Myi ok I will try to figure it out based on the instructions above. What about the heating pad? And what would those pieces be called?

      On the upper half. There Gray outer cover has a black half that has some tabs to keep the pins from popping out when the phone is opened and closed. While may who open a phone will end up snapping that tab and then reclose it. But it's preferred to put a new one. Phone will function for the time being with no issues without replacing. And then there's times when you don't end up snapping anything. Meaning it doesn't always snap off, it hard to open without snapping. But you may just be lucky.
