Hi as everyone already knows, Verizon recently stopped supporting Message+ (as of feb. 28) on flip phones.
This means that everything besides basic sms wont work anymore (syncing, backup, and message plus groups)
I have the e4610 and was subscribed to message plus before Feb. 28 and everything worked seamlessly even after the 28th. {I had the message plus groups with the background}
I recently unsubscribed and now cannot resubscribe since its not supported anymore.
Now, I noticed when installing a later version of the app (made for smartphones) it allows you to subscribe even though its a flip phone.
This is not a feasible option since the newer versions of the app are designed for touch screen phones
The issue arises when uninstalling the newer version of the app and reverting to the original version, that it automatically unsubscribes.
SO HERES WHAT IM SUGGESTING:
1) MAYBE SOMEONE CAN DESIGN/MODIFY A LATER VERSION OF THE APP FOR FLIP PHONES WHICH ALLOWS U TO SUBSCRIBE, OR:
2) MAYBE SOMEONE CAN FIGURE HOW TO STAY SUBSCRIBED EVEN WHILE UNINSTALLING THE NEWER VERSION.
