  • Getting an error when trying to activate Apps4Flip Mouse using WebADB

When I try to get the Mouse up and running using the provided commands in WebADB I get "Error: Requires permission not exported from uid 10094"

Here is the full command rundown:

E4810:/ $ pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.lge.voicecommand
Failure [not installed for 0]
m.android.cts.appsflipcursor SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW allow <
E4810:/ $ settings put secure accessibility_enabled 1
s.appsflipcursor/com.android.cts.appsflipcursor.services.MouseEventService <
cursor/com.android.cts.appsflipcursor.services.MouseEventService <
Starting service: Intent { act=android.intent.action.MAIN cat=[android.intent.category.LAUNCHER] cmp=com.android.cts.appsflipcursor/.services.MouseEventService }
Error: Requires permission not exported from uid 10094

    I'm on a Kyocera DuraXV Extreme

    toes It should work anyway, try again. Btw on the extreme you may be able to activate it without the commands, just by going into the app and clicking set up permissions.

      Techgen What permissions should I activate? The cursor is working, but when I try and use it in an app (I've been testing with Whatsapp), it doesn't actually click into message threads.

      It works! My F-Android version was messed up. So I ended up uninstalling then re-downloading it. Then did the same with Whatsapp, and it's now working.

      The UI is super wonky though, with the chat field only accessible by scrolling wayyyyy over to the right after clicking on the conversation. I guess this is to be expected with a flip phone.
