Does anybody know what the procedure is to remove an in-app browser? There are so many useful apps out there that have unfiltered browsers hiding somewhere inside. Is there some sort of adb permission? Thank you!

[unknown] Moovit, Duolingo (updated version), Mostly Music, Jewishmusic.fm, YWN, Avis car rental, lots of maps and weather apps..... just to name a few of the many that I've come across.

cowculator I've used lucky patcher (which I believe I found somewhere on these forums) to remove permissions. For example if you can access an in app browser through clicking on "help center" in an app, sometimes you can remove the permission to click on "help center" for that app, in lucky patcher. Many times you won't have that option, or even if you do, the app might not work afterwards. This only works occasionally, but I guess it's better than nothing.

So, what do we do now? I'm assuming you're supposed to rebuild APK with modified permissions, I'm just not sure which permissions I need to modify.

[unknown] you can try to find the webview activity and ruin it as much as possible so that when someone tries to open the part of the app which loads the webpage it will just crash. Some apps will completely crash from this but I've successfully done this to a few apps
