Does anybody know how I could backup my contacts on an Alcatel Go Flip V? Apps like phone copy or contacts backup aren't registering anything. Thanks!

Scroll to and select Contacts.
Select Options.
Scroll to and select Settings.
Select Export Contacts.
Select either SIM card or Memory card.
Select the individual contacts you would like to export or select Select All.
Select Export.

There's only an option to sort contacts. No option to export. That's why I'm asking.

FliphoneBochur It could be you have a software update available. If not, I have not found a way to do it.

Thanks! As of now, I'm on the latest version, but I just figured I could Bluetooth the vcf file to another device by sharing contacts through Bluetooth, but you could only send 100 contacts at a time.

FliphoneBochur Exactly the issue. and no easy way to only select a specific 100...
These phones were really not made for humans..

I just selected 100 at a time and got all my contacts in 2 files. It's not that hard. What do you mean by not for humans?

Got it! I'll try to see if I could get root access and work from there. I think I found something that might help. I'll post here if I've gotten anything.

Thank you so much! Sending now

so is there a diffrent way to copy contects? or only thru BT?
              thanks

fried I haven't found anything yet. Any app that I try says there are no contacts. I just found a new contacts app that says it could backup. I'll try it out and post it here if it works.

I found an app called Contact Backup that solves the issue. You can download it [Login to see the link]. You'll have to lower your screen density (to 100 or lower) to see what the buttons say. It saves to Internal Storage > ContactBackup Storage > VCF files.
