Lets continue here, as the other thread should be more informative, this can be for back and forth arguing lol.

Update: Mr. Li told me that fig wants to get in touch with me. So I gave my number to FIG. I might be in trouble... 😨

Biden2020prez yes actually. Fig tried calling me already. I didn't pick up the phone. I texted that I will call him later.

Helix_X_Dome It would be nice if they were forthcoming with their customers

Haha just kidding, I just wanted to take you guys for a loop lol. Nothing happened. He called me (I won't share his name), and he thought that I wanted to get into the kosher phone business, since that was what Mr. Li told him. I told him that I was never interested in selling kosher phones, and that I am only a student looking into options for a kosher phone. He asked me a few personal questions, and I replied accordingly.

Through the conversation he told me a few more details about the fig phone 2. He told me that he has 3 Jewish and non Jewish programmers across the world (US,Israel, and...Turkey?) helping him develop software for the phone. He also told me that the 3 programmers worked for 12 months(!) to "encrypt the chip". I'm not really sure what that means. I tried asking him to explain but he kept repeating how the phone is "unhackable" since they "encrypted the chip". He also told me that the Chinese manafacturers don't do anything to the software, contradicting what Mr. Li told me. Or maybe I misheard from him. Anywho, I also asked him if it has video capability. So he replied that only videos taken by the phone can be watched but no other videos can be watched, e.g. videos sent over MMS. Eventually he asked me if I want to buy one, and I said that it would depend how much it is. He told me that he is receiving the new phones next week, and that he is going to israel that week, and coming back the week afterwards to sell the phones. He asked me to call him for a special price when he comes back from Israel. I wished him Hatzlacha rabba and hung up. Overall he was a very nice person and enjoyed talking with him.

P.s. sorry about the troll post earlier lol I'll take it down I just wanted to have a little fun

Helix_X_Dome In my opinion the phone is not good unless certified by the carriers which is not going to happen too soon it appears, you shouldnt have to give a fake IMEI to activate, who know if Verizon system will catch on later on and shut off service, just like what ATT did a couple of months ago

MXRJR It might look a little funny, because the post I responded to has been deleted. I don't have time to get too involved with my issues with FIG, but for example they are not forthcoming about their phones compatibility with AT&T
