I just picked up a TCL FLIP GO (specs at end of post)

I'm trying to make this my secure phone and so i'm running it with GPS, WiFi, and data disabled. I'm just using the talk/text feature.

What I want to do is edit the base code of the phone to completely disable the GPS, WiFi, and data capability. I have already turned them off in settings but I want it gone. Kind of like how if you are on a PC you can uninstall drivers. I'd also like to get rid of the browser if possible.

greek111 To start off, you should visit this thread [Login to see the link] and this github page [Login to see the link] for a guide for rooting the phone. The TCL Flip 2 t408dl and the Flip Go 4058w are almost the same, and the boot image should be cross compatible.
