801900Flip While it is expensive, for those that want a full QWERTY keyboard, it is really hard to find any alternatives. That's why they can charge a premium

I actually had the opportunity to briefly hold this phone a while back. Although it looks like the old LG Cosmos, it is 4G and made custom (in China of course) for this seller. The main attraction of this phone would be the full qwerty keyboard (I miss the Brightside and Xpression) but it overall does not feel especially high quality, the slide feels a bit junky, and the overall plastic outside feels cheap. But I think there is some warranty it comes with, and they can fix it for cheap themselves. It isn't touchscreen, so it comes with a mouse to use with Waze.
From what I can tell the system seems to work for what it's meant to do, but I do not have experience using it, so I can't know for sure. There have been some reports of bugs, but they do send fixes with OTA updates. I haven't tested the call quality, but it does work with all carriers.
I don't remember much about it, I guess we'll have to wait for [Login to see the link] full review

Edit: I know I kind of just listed the negatives, so I may have made the phone sound worse than it is. There are also a lot of good parts, I just don't remember details, but I remember checking known issues with other phones that this didn't seem to have. The question is when it's worth the price tag
I also just remembered that it had the actual Gmail app (I did not try to use it) which is unusual for such phones, I don't know if it has Google play services or they got around it somehow.

Techgen Did you try the OS at all? Curious if it feels snappy like the old java phones or the lag that android is on many flip phones. ( side note: the Lg cosmos 3 the worst of the flip phones for some reason it was buggy and as soon as you got too much information on there it slowed down like crazy every other phone before that was 10 times better)

Flippy Well the OS is android based, but it felt pretty snappy when I tried browsing through the menus, but I didn't try running multiple apps or even any moderate use

        12 days later

SamFried is there a place where i could find the non kosher one and filter it myself it will probably be cheeper?
Does anyone know the real make and model of the phone

Anyone else phone just die after month of non use? Won't turn on, doesn't indicate if it is charging or not,
