For Customers with non-Apple devices: TracFone will provide an unlocking code to customers who request unlocking, provided they meet the following conditions:
If the TracFone device was activated with TracFone service prior to November 23, 2021, then the device must have been active on TracFone Service for no fewer than 12 months with Service Plans redeemed in no fewer than 12 months, and not have had their telephone number recycled or ported.
If the TracFone device was activated with new service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, then at least 60 days must have elapsed since the device was activated.
The device must be in working condition.
The device has not been reported stolen or lost, and there are no indicators of fraud.

Moo This problem with porting out comes up when you put your sim card into another cellphone. What happens is that your sim card gets registered to another imei, and does not always get switched back when you put it back in your phone.
FIXES: 1) transfer your phone number to a different sim using the tracfone system by calling them at 800-867-7183, and pressing the option to transfer your number, and then the imei you register the new sim under will be account number. (either buy a new sim, or transfer your number to a tracfone device, like an LG Classic which comes with a sim)
2) text the word "four" to 611611 and try to figure out which imei your sim got registered to by comparing the number you get to the last four digits of the other phone's imei (the one you your sim into), and that will be your account number.
Can you unlock it even after installing the filter?
