esaphire3 Hi, I spoke to Nati, the owner of Tripletel, he said that some phones (Kyocera cadence, NUU f4L) have issues. Just so you understand how tripletel works: it runs off of 3 services: 1) HotMobile 2) Partner and i think the 3rd is Pelephone. (tripletel changed from golan to hotmobile around spring last year) The phone will hook on to the best signal at your location. Some phones (the Kyocera cadence, for example) are incompatible with Hotmobile, therefore the phone constantly drops the service and tries to switch.
Nati deals with many clients and knows the service in and out, so the best move is email him the links to a few phones you're considering getting and he'll let you know which ones will work. I've done this in the past and he's always been helpful.

Just so you know I'm using the lg exalt (I know it's hard to get...) and the Alcatel SmartFlip ( which is available GSM unlocked from Amazon here: [Login to see the link]
Both are working fine....
Hope this helps.
