        and if you run that 3 month plan you can unlock it after 2 month

            asker dunno. i actually called them up 2 days ago and they are saying you cannot unlock until 12 months....

                That 2 month is only if you were using Verizon towers from them

                  asker so its like this. If you do it online it works. I JUST UNLOCKED A PHONE THAT NEVER HAD SERVICE ON IT!!!!!!!!

                      Atusb if you bought it used or refurbished that might be why

                          Atusb the tracfone reps are not known for being too bright, they probably didn’t know about the policy change, try calling their unlocking department directly at 888-442-5102

                                Funny thing, I went on to TracFone's website yesterday and I noticed that they have the LG classic brand new in stock for $30. I got to order 2 before it went out of stock again, One of them actually shipped today. This phone has been out of stock for more then a year, How do they suddenly have it in stock?

                                  Weirdo they are restructuring their warehouses after Verizon bought them out, they must have found some overlooked stock
