Does anyone have experience with the Samsung sch-i405? Someone brought it to me, and it's quite an interesting phone, the only 4g phone I've seen with a physical qwerty keyboard. It's pretty old, it runs Android 2.3, but it looks like it was pretty feature full for that time. But I was having issues picking it up with adb, I read online that pressing build number 7 times would enable developer options, but it didn't seem to do anything. I ended up finding an option to enable usb debugging somewhere else in the settings, but when I plugged it into my computer, although the phone said usb debugging connected, on the computer adb devices turned up nothing. Cycling usb modes didn't help. The only thing I can think of is that my version of adb doesn't recognise such old Android versions. Does anyone else have experience with this phone or a similar one?

Techgen wow what service is it running on?

Flippy Verizon. I didn't have so much time to look at it, but it has a play store, probably a very old smartphone

I found a website with drivers to install on your computer in order to connect to your device:

Moo Interesting. The phone did show up on the computer, it just wasn't being picked up by adb, but it looks like from here that adb might need additional drivers. I'll try it when I get the phone back and I'll let you know. Thanks!

Yeah that makes sense cuz even though it shows up it still needs a the correct drivers for different usb modes.

Techgen I hate to say, but there is a very big chance that phone will stop working by the end of the year...

Flippy It's not my phone, but I could let him know. Why would it stop working? By the 3g shutdown?

Yes. It may be 4g but its probably not Volte..
