I know how to modify apps but do not know how to get rid of embedded browsers/social media shortcuts.
if anybody can write instructions here (if feasible) I would appreciate it

Nhaaps When the apk is decompiled search for things written in the IAB (Like about, legal etc.)
When you find them just replace the links with [Login to see the link] (localhost - won't open anything) [or if it is an HTML file then you can add target=”_blank"
to make them open in the browser]
I did this to several apps including the Gas Guru app and the Zmanim app (that was on the aff website and was then replaced with one that isn't as good)
Nhaaps in app browser. I think I have a simple way, if you tell m an app to test in on I'll let you know
Biden2020prez Do you have yeshiva world apk?
No
whats ur email? (if u dont mind)
My username on this forum @gmail
Nhaaps In the Zmanim app I found the about file (which is the IAB) in
assets\com\gindin\zmanim\android
and I modified those by removing the link. As i explained earlier you can also just make them open in a browser using target=”_blank"
Lev26 Here is the app:
(Notice in the about section the links don't work and I added a line 'Cleaned by SolF')
Biden2020prez any updates?
Nhaaps Yeah, my idea doesn't come close to working. I am still trying to figure out if there is a way without knowing about the app, but as of now I don't know.
Is it better if I use other one (like wetransfer?)
Hey all, just a reminder to please not post any app modifiers or anything that could even potentially be used to modify or distribute unkosher apps. We want to keep this community kosher and inclusive! Thank You!
Apps4Flip-Admin I feel like it is my fault that this message was written because i wasnt careful enough b4 i posted certian apps... sorry
[Login to see the link] No problem! My message wasn't meant at anyone in particular, just a general reminder since some discussions can potentially be used for the wrong things and we want to avoid that.
Thanks for being understanding.
