I noticed my (schok) phone has a package called com.android.shell which is for debuging... so would removing that get rid of ADB? I would test it, except I don't want to wreck my phone,

CallMeACynic If its a schok then it comes wrecked go for it
CallMeACynic You can always factory reset if it's wrecked. Or call Schok for a new one lol.
CallMeACynic If it is indeed the adb shell that runs on the phone it might stop you from using adb shell commands, but I don't know if it will prevent you from using adb commands that don't use the shell
Techgen Seems like LG Classic has it too. I'll try later and post the results.
I tried it on the lg classic, and adb shell commands still work
Biden2020prez I'm on my 6th or 7th...
Biden2020prez Ok.
Techgen Oh, any command that isn't adb shell (like adb pm) would still work?
CallMeACynic That's what I would assume. Adb shell commands run on a shell on the phone
