Does anyone have info on the issue reported?
Random tip for xp3 (and others, but usefull on xp3): If youre annoyed that alot of apps, such as waze, display large so you cant see all that you are supposed to, you might want to play around with the screen size and dpi. adb shell wm size and adb shell wm density. The default dpi is 160, if you make it lower it will make things smaller, if you make it higher it will be bigger. You'll want to find the right balance between your other apps looking good and the system apps looking good. Random bonus if you do adb shell wm size 360x480 and adb shell wm density 225, you might get different looking icons. adb shell wm density reset and adb shell wm size reset puts it back to normal.
Just letting everyone know. You don't need any app launcher on the sonim xp3 once you add an app through adb it will show up in the main menu under the "applications" folder!
[Login to see the link] how do you access your installed apps? Through the app launcher from the site or the phones applications folder?
[Login to see the link] On the xp3, I don't think it's even possible to use the app launcher. I remember when I installed my first apps4flip app, I didn't know how to access the app, I tried dialing a certain code to access the app launcher, but the launcher wouldn't even work. Then I found all the apps in the Application folder...
anonymousflipphone right but I wanna have a way to have the added apps in a different folder like In the app launcher...
Gratitudetocreator I use the regular applications folder that comes with the phone
anonymousflipphone The simple launcher for kyocera from kosherappsforflip works, but it doesnt make folders
Techgen what do you mean it doesn't make folders?
Gratitudetocreator I don't know, you sounded like you wanted a launcher that can put your apps in folders
Techgen no not at all. What I was thinking, if the browser will come off from the menu I would like something else to be there instead. So I thought maybe there's a way how I can get an app launcher to show up in the menu...
Gratitudetocreator I dont know what commands would pick whats on the menu, but in any case that launcher from kosherappsforflip kyocera works on the xp3 if you want it
Techgen and where can I find it? Also in the applications folder? Or it comes up in the menu.
Gratitudetocreator It will be in the applications folder, like all other apps, If you want you can install button mapper and set a key to open that menu
[Login to see the link] Do you have aquamail? If yes, do you need access to the browser when you use it? Or do you need the browser just to sign in the first time?
