I know that TAG in Toronto was experimenting with it. I tried it out for a bit but it was very buggy, and needed a lot of work. As far as maps I couldn't tell you anything, try reddit maybe?
They recently pushed a software update that took care of many of the bugs. Overall a great option for t-mobile/att users that only have a bunch of other garbage phones to use like the Alcatel. The maps is their own, not great, but better than nothing.
i just got one, the maps is from HERE maps and surprised me with being decent. The dictation for texting is awesome and its mildly buggy but completely usable. there is a TAG logo on the back. there is a touch screen
can you install modified apps on it?
no it blocks installs regardless of signature
Is it made by TAG? IS their back story true, or is it a frum product?
Last winter I was given one of these by someone in TAG to try out for a few days. He told me at the time that somebody else started working on it but had issues with the software development and ran low on funding so he joined the project and raised the money needed to complete it.
I know that it was defilntly not made by TAG but besides for that not much
wanttoworkfortag Like I said it is not produced by TAG, but they were heavily involved in the development.
How much does this go for? Can you get it cheaper than 195 from other sellers?
