• LG Classic Flip - KEYPAD BUCKLING!

This might only happen to people who travel through various climates, but I had my keypad start popping up and now it's like a bubble once the MSM8909 warms the underside of the board. It's due to expansion and contraction, but now I need to get a donor L125DL's bottom half before I can pick up where I left off. I'll be back, but right now I'm in a tight spot and it will be at least January before I can get a new keypad membrane or another L125DL...

I've traveled from US, to Indonesia, to Japan, and to various parts of those countries. My phone has seen so many climates and has quite the story to tell but I don't want a $15 part to be the reason that I can't keep using it.

        Random I just did! FIXED!
I used a dab of Krazy glue over each metal key and where the original clear 3M was in between the keys!

Random Your suggestions saved me $15. Thank you. I just went to Dollar Tree and bought Super Glue GEL and that did the trick for me. I'm back to the L125DL, thanks!

Random i tried putting sticky double sided tape, but no luck.

Flippy Thats what makes the Kyocera and Exalt and top knotch phone in comparioson, though the LG exalt is garbage in terms of the hinges. Extremely delicate.

Talking about keypads, i used to have a schok classic and though it worked great in the beginning eventually through wear the buttons stopped clicking entirely so that got me to get a duraxv extreme which has no such problems wish schok would come out with a newer version

            how can i glue it?
            Need to open the phone?

Probably, I personally have used the screwdrivers meant for glasses to open it but ive never glued down a keyboard from the other side

xxdeafgirl Did you pry off membrane to glue it down or open up phone?

BORED I did by opening the phone... Dont advise prying off the membrane. Pretty simple to take off back, undo all screws, pry off plastic back, take of screws that are over the charging port, (optional pop of the screen connection), than push out from the front of the buttons and you should have access to glue down

Ok thank you I'll try it

Atusb were talking about a new keypad. And it's simple if you know what your doing. Or have someone who's a bit handy do it for you.
