Techgen This is the page for the F30. The F30 has different bands than the FIG as far as I know. He customized the bands and has someone doing the software as well.

[Login to see the link] are you aware of an issue with the F30 that calls are going to voicemail whenever the screen turns off? They are selling this phone in Cellular4Less in Boro Park (I assume it's the F30 because he said it's the latest model and only he has it). My father bought it there and was having this issue. He said alot of people had the same issue and they are still trying to figure it out.

jbriones95 Right, I was just saying that the link from planet cell looks like it's the f21.

countrypark No issues from my unit. As long as the ringer is on, the phone works as it should.

Techgen Got it. Probably the Planet Cell one is the FIG one.

Flippy Verizon. They said it's a issue the developers are working on now and should have a fix today. The phone works normally until the screen turns off then it stops taking calls and goes to VM.

Who said this? And is this a recent problem? What changed?

Flippy Cellular4Less in Boro Park. They just started selling it.

Flippy they told him it's the latest model and only they have it now but haven't confirmed yet %100 that it is the F30. Is there a way to tell from a picture?

countrypark This should be the F30. The F30 doesn't have branding with Qin AI life or whatever it is. But Idk, if you have band 71 it should be the F30.

Update: Cellular4less stopped selling the phone until they put out a fix (probably this week) for the issue of calls going to Vm when screen turns off. They did manage to apply a fix to my fathers phone and it works now.

I'm wondering about the security of these phones. How much access do the develoeprs have? They did say they will be adding Waze, the question is how that is done remotely and what kind of access they have.

Hi everyone, I had the f21 for a few months (started having problems) so then I got the flip recently (its been 2 months and also starting to have problems). I really want the galaxy z flip4. How hard would it be to either copy the software from the Fig phone to the galaxy z and make the necessary modifications. Or more realistically make a similar dummed down android OS for the flip4. I saw that European version of the flip4 supports rooting so it should be possible right? Essentially wondering if someone can give me a breakdown of the steps needed to do something very similar as fig for a phone like the flip4. Based on my research I would need to,

                    • Root the phone
                    • Remove all the unneeded apps/processes
                    • In order to remove all browser and video playback, would I need to reverse engineer all the apps? This is the step I am most confused about

I'm a software engineer at AWS, backend/data systems not mobile. I did just started working with Kotlin but my skills in the area are limited.

                    TY in advance.

Biden2020prez why is it not possible? Because the phone doesn't allow custom ROMs on it?
Flippy Does the TAG filter remove all video playback? Like if i transfer something from my computer to phone?

rand01201 basically You can't flash any firmware to any phone. It only works on very similar models.

rand01201 I am not sure specifics. you should contact your local TAG office., They have a variety of options for many phones.

Biden2020prez I think he means to make a custom firmware specifically for this phone, just similar to the fig in its filter level/limitations
