Incase anyone is interested, I made an exe of a bananahackers fork of mtk-bootseq. (no prerequisites)

To run,

  1. download booter.exe
  2. Go to the directory it's located
  3. Open CMD
  4. Run booter {port}
    Example: booter COM4
(First, plug in phone and see what port is opened (labeled mediatek preloader), then unplug, run the command for that port, and re-plug).

Example:

Thats all!

    Hi I'm new to this:

    /vendor/bin/write_protect 0

where do I run this from?
    Thanks!

neutronscott Thank you for replying. I don't really understand....
I would need a practical example of how to apply that.

darth Can you share an unmodified super? I tried rebooting as you suggested, and now none of my keys work 😥

Thanks! I followed the wiki with fastboot and the neutron.img. I installed Magisk and can install apps via adb, however when I try to do adb shell su, it says permission denied.

techy What did you do exactly? Did you try just reflashing one of the ROMs I posted in my [Login to see the link]?

0x7 Run adb shell then run su You should get a popup from the magisk app to allow shell root permission. You can also go into the magisk app and allow shell to have root access (once you have run su in adb shell).

darth I flashed neutronscotts original rom. Before you released any of your own. I then attempted to free up the star/Favorites key, to use it for other things, e.g. voice access.

darth how do I activate this keymap?

Hi1 Just swap those out for the ones in system/usr/keylayout. This can be done if you have root access with rw or through the custom recovery.

                        darth Thank you.
                        Still not working though...
