  • Filtering the kyocera duraxv extreme

McMonster I don't know if there is a way to do it, but I know on the Extreme when you first set up the phone, on the language selection page you can press *#*#*# and it will enable additional options, including things that can be blocked with a password. I don't have one in front of me, but maybe that will have an option that will help. (If you didn't do that when you set up the phone you need to reset the phone and do it by setup)

Anybody knows how to boot this device into fastboot? I tried adb reboot bootloader but it just reboots the device

You have to enter * # * # * # (star-pound-star-pound-star-pound) immediately upon resetting the phone, when it shows the "Select Language" screen, then click yes to allow device management. The phone can then be filtered by going to Settings>Business Tools>Device Control. The default password is 000000. You can block apps, disable software updates, installing apps etc.

4448641 but it doesn't block reset do you know a way to block reset? (I tried Google family link which blocks reset I though it will work beacuse this phone allows regular installations but wasn't able to launch the app) so I guess the olny way is rooting

          resetting requires a password

family link wont work on this phone because google play services is not installed

Hi1 that is true, the only option you have to block that is a filter from tag

4448641 the olny option is a teqloc filter beacuse livigent won't work for this phone or any phone except a classic or a exalt, but if we can figure out how to root this phone it will solve the problem

whynot it boots the device into a weird screen but its not download or fastboot mode

Hi1 It's technically another version of fastboot. The terms fastboot and bootloader are the same. I think that that interface is specific to Qualcomm phones.
