  • Instructions for installing a kosher ROM on TCL Flip2/Classic T408DL

so i installed the talk and text with apps op1. so now if i by mistake press number 3 key while im am in "cursor" mode i wont be able to click anything with the mouse unless i restart the phone also i cant dial the numbers 9, 7, #, and*(the cursor moves with the arrow keys) while in that mode. how do i fix this

    samwbed not sure what the issue is, but why dont u just restart the phone?

        samwbed Look at instructions in first post for how to use mouse mode. It explains what each key does.

            From which step do I begin to upgrade a ROM?

            Also in withapps2.3 its now super.img instead of super.bin?

            Edit: answering my own question, to upgrade its just: fastboot flash super super.img

              darth this is what it said in the first post "When mouse is on keys 7 and 9 scroll up, and keys * and # scroll down, key 3 opens options/right clicks" problem is by me the mouse only moves when i press the main arrow buttons. and like i said, the 7 9 #* dont move the mouse at all(i cant dial them either. just nothing happens). and the 3 somehow deactivates the ability to click. where did i mess up. (waze also doesnt work properly. dont know if thats connected, just throwing it out there)

                    Reread the bold text... Its not supposed to move the mouse it performs other actions.

                        darth the reason why i made the mistake of thinking that u meant that the 79#* will move the cursor is because when i pressed those buttons (and 3) it did not do any of the actions described in the post,
                        But really my main issue now is that the cursor completely loses its ability to click anything i f by mistake the wrong button is pushed (i think its the number 3 but maybe others too) which can be very frustrating if for instance i am using waze and i have to restart the whole phone for it to work again.
                        So far i tried the talk only op3 and talk and txt op1 and they both have the same issue

                              samwbed Its the same mouse in all of the Roms. Its how the mouse is built. If you want to build a new mouse then feel free. When in mouse mode you should only be using the mouse. If you need to scroll then put the mouse where you want to scroll and toggle the scroll keys. If you need to open an options menu (not really applicable) then use the number 3. If you try making the mouse do things it shouldnt by clicking those keys at times/places that they shouldnt be clicked it will cause the mouse to crash.

                                manyhill This is something I’m not understanding. Do i need to download something new to my computer?

                                    What is Step 5, above? I installed the kosher rom on my phone and now i want to update and seems to be having difficulty. when i plug my phone in it says fastboot mode, but cant seem to do anything i cant enter the command fastboot... unless im trying to enter in the wrong place...

                                    are you planning on making a rom with more of the apps that are on apps 4 flip available? i.e. google maps, uber?

                                      darth is the ROM updated with the new Hebrew Keyboard and apps launcher❓

                                        how can i install just a hebrew keyboard? what roms have it?

                                          Version 2.0 is almost ready. So far I have added [Login to see the link] apps: Smartlist, Hebkey, and App launcher. And: Siddursfard, AndDaaven, SmartZmanim, Smartlist, Tehilim, and Waze.
                                          I have been trying Uber/Lyft but both apps seem to be buggy on this phone. If anyone has installed a version that works functionally please let me know.

                                          What else should I add?

                                            ZTEGuy "Not yet available in your area" LOL. I haven't seen anywhere it works.
