Instructions for installing a kosher ROM on TCL Flip2/Classic T408DL

darth that would be great. I'll have to hold off giving this to my daughter until I can flash the 4058W with a no browser but yes photos ROM. Just submitted the survey as well. To clarify, for TCL 4058W, you currently only have that one ROM you linked above?

darth hey is it possible that everything works but calling doesn't? even texting is working in both directions. but calls in/out don't work. wondering if that's even a possibility with a "bad" ROM rather than apps not launching/working/etc. Or do I need to do anything for it to work?

flipperk [Login to see the link] The calls are actually working but sporadically. Moving to new SIM doesn't help. Still curious if you think the culprit may be this 4058W ROM I used or do you think it's unrelated? Thanks.

flipperk if you're on tracfone, is your sim married to your phones imei?

Jumptoheaven this is on Tmobile, a TCL Flip Go 4058W and I'm able to swap SIMs around without any issues. I moved two of my lines to this model phone. The first is stock ROM and has no issues. The second is this ROM and has these intermittent call in/out issues (texts seem to be fine). I'll also notice dropping from 4GLTE to 2G etc. So it may just be a bad phone coincidentally and that's why I'm asking if a "bad" ROM could exhibit these kinds of issues. (Everything else is working 100% btw).

darth I understand that. What I'm trying to figure out is if the ROM is "bad", is it at all possible that it would exhibit itself in this manner? Or is the only way a "bad" ROM presents itself is the inability for the phone to boot or app that crash, etc. rather than an intermittent voice network issue.

darth is there any way that I can help you to help me with this? cant have the kids running around with a browser on these 4058W phone. Thanks! Also, is there a way for me to revert back to the factory ROM on this

However, even with that error, when I plug in the phone, it did go into fastboot mode.
