  • [Beta Testing] - Test our apps before they are uploaded to Apps4Flip

Hi everyone, we are trying to make updates to the main apps page on apps4flip.com. We can only ensure good apps get posted if you help out! In this thread we'll post apps for you to test. Please leave feedback, and tell us your phone model. Thanks!

Our first app for testing is Waze. This Waze is a better screen resolution for flip phones and also is 40mb only.

Please reply with the model phone you tried, and your success. Did it get your location okay? Is the size okay? Please confirm with us that there are no in app browsers!!!

    location was spot on
    had a hard time navigating, but I'm only using voice access.
    seems to be resolution cut off some info when searching for a destination, see attached photo.

            • Would it help if I made a version with a cursor? (Also, are having trouble setting up mouse feel free to email me: [Login to see the link], and I'll help you out).
            • Not sure I know how to fix that resolution problem unfortunately 🙁.

            Please confirm 2 more things:

            • Were you able to access any in app browsers?
            • Overall, would you say this is better or worse than the current one? Should we switch to this one?

                  I tried out the google maps from the website on my classic and it works perfectly

                    Do these apps work on a regular filtered phone?

                      Biden2020prez its amazing! however it requires a touch so you need a mouse or voice access and another problem is that theres no mouse installed in the app and this means i cant press the report button to report something like police or crash. but screen fits good (im using vn220)

                            Apps4Flip Heb Key - On screen hebrew keyboard for flip phones
                            From the apps4flip site doesn't work with buttons

                            Here is apps4flip launcher for the LG Classic, but with an added go to home feature. When you are in a phone call, there are two ways to get home.

                            1. Go to options > Add call > Dialer, Then Dial *#*#464663#*#* (GOHOME)
                            2. Add someone in your contacts and put in the website field apps4flip.home. Then, when inside a call, go to options > add call > contacts: And go to the contact and press on the website.

                            Note: If you use the first method, your call will me muted, and you'll be forced to unmute using mouse to press the mute button in notifications.

                              Biden2020prez i mean yes since its needed for non-mouse/voice access people. i think you should just add the same cursor from the old version it worked great
