I installed it and now the app opens up with the permission dialog. It says its on standby and shows a icon during a phone call, but I can't find the recording in the app or in internal settings. Also when I click on app settings the app stops. Also a notification c said that the app should be updated.

    A) Did you check your internal storage? (It should be under Internal Storage > com.android.cts.boldbeast.recorder > rec)
    B) I have no idea why it crashes when you try to enter settings. I'll try to look into that. You're on an Exalt, right?
    C) Just ignore the update prompt. The app works fine, and when you try to hit update it takes you nowhere, so just leave it.

      Shaul I have no idea. I'll try a few stuff tomorrow, but for now, a gut nacht!

        Hi. I downloaded the Boldbeast app and when I try to grant permissions it shuts down and a message pops up saying that the app shut down since I did not grant permission. Does anybody know what I can do? (Thanks to FliphoneBochur for providing download instructions and commands)

          FliphoneBochur it works bu keeps crashing like when i try to go into setting in the app, the app just shuts down

            1. the record button pops up but cant press it
            2. when I click App settings or Call Settings or Memo Settings, it pops up "Unfortunately, Boldbeast Recorder ha stopped"

              crf 1st try uninstalling and reinstalling it. If you still can't click it with a mouse, try seeing if you could click it with SCRCPY.

              ok in SCRCPY it gets pressed but then following message pops up:
              There is another recorder working in your phone that blocks Boldbeast. Android allows only one recorder working, so you MUST remove ALL other recorders at first, otherwise Boldbeast will surely fail to record calls.
