just downloaded apps4flip waze but the cursor doesn't seem to be working, it just stays on the bottom of the screen. any ideas
JKing2 Which phone is this?
Can't get Waze to work on the LG classic. I get "Uh oh, no GPS connection".
even thought GPS is on and allowedon Waze.
also the cursor is frozen at the bottom.
Any Ideas?
i go to [Login to see the link] and i cannot connect my device in some browsers it say access denied and in other browsers it just does nothing
installed cursor app on lg classic flip problem is if phone is set to vibrate for all things (calls texts etc) it automatically reads out example "call from home" with vibrate nothing i do changes this however if i go to accessibilty and uncheck readout then it stops but it also stops the cursor from working and i have to reinstall app and put in adb commands etc. just wondering if anyone had this issue
frumflip me too
frumflip the eitza is to uninstall com.lge.tts.sfplus BUT it "ruins" the voice access so that after uninstalling tts it will only listen the first time you talk and if you want to talk again you have to press the button to turn voice access on and off again (not such a big deal but just FYI)
JustAYid you have to give waze location permission by runinng the following adb command
adb shell pm grant com.android.cts.waze android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION
lg classic has problem getting picture mail
nhhhhs try using the texting support to 611611 and using the automated response to fix messaging (probably wont work).
If that doesn't work the only thing that worked for me (its a real pain in the neck but it worked on two numbers) is porting out the number temporarily to a non Verizon plan such as tello (you will need an extra device to do this) and porting it back.
I think also switching to an AT&T sim from TracFone (you can pick up in many stores for a dollar) and switching your number onto that should work and possibly will also fix the problem even if you afterwards switch back to the Verizon sim. (the TracFone rep may tell you that the classic wont work with the AT&T sim but it does).
The problem has something to do with "baggage" that the phone number has (something to do with being registered to Verizon plus) and porting out cleans it up somehow. I don't understand why or how but I know I wasted many hours on the phone with TracFone and nothing else worked.
