I was able to install the app. However, it does not seem to be working... It does not seem to sense my location, and if I click on a link for directions, it does not navigate.

Hmmm... maybe reinstall it. i sometimes have a problem that it cant find me... try walking around with it or just giving it time

Also, the old google maps populated addresses/places when you started typing. Is that something that this app does? Thanks

boredboch my phone doesn't have google play services. I just made a few modifications to the one apps4flip modded so that it can block the update popup.

I found an old modded one from 2013 that actually works surprisingly well from [Login to see the link]

If you guys want to try the flip enabled version, [Login to see the link] I gave it precise location permission via adb after installation & all seems fine, even voice nav. There are a couple instances where it needs a mouse, so if someone wants to see what they could do with the one they have or give it its own built in pointer like the Waze app that would work great I bet.

ayilmeshilesh Probably not. If it's a newer version of Google Maps, the location wont work if it's resigned.

Biden2020prez MXRJR I just tried it and got the same error. I tried a bunch of stuff, but nothing's working and I keep getting the same error. If I try a really early version of the app, I get the "You have to update" error. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I have no idea. If anybody else (maybe [Login to see the link]) could help, it would be appreciated.

MXRJR In regards to the pointer, I have no idea how to add one. I'll have to ask Reb Biden to teach me.
