Voice access doesn't work and when turning on USB debugging I can't connect it to ADB and I have no way how to give accessibility permissions for it

    I am trying to update the rom but not understanding from this thread

      i tried fastbooting my phone but it didnt show up on the mtk program

          Jackbeast it references the post right on top of it. Did you install a kosher rom already? Do you have MTK Drivers?

            Thanks to many people above i was able to UPDATE my rom. However now my buttons seemed messed up, i used to have the button on the front for my voice access control, and my favorites button worked for favorite contacts. not one of the buttons pull up the mouse... which i dont need.. how can i set the buttons?

                Cseal89 turn on voice access from notifications and say “voice access settings” , in the settings select the option to configure activation key, press whichever button you want to use and say “ok”. As for the mouse, it isn’t included in the rom, it’s in the boot image, so the favorites button in your rom is reserved for mouse, and since you don’t have the mouse boot image the button does nothing.

                  Newbie here. I was able to succesfuly get through all the steps, but at the last command "fastboot flash super super.bin" I'm getting an error "ANDOID_PRODUCT_OUT not set". I put the super in the same folder as adb, I also was able to flash the boot.bin succesfuly.

                        mr-mayor if you are trying to flash this ROM - Talk&Text-With Apps Op 2: Removes: Browser. Includes: Waze, Weather, Siddur, and Hotspot. - you should do fastboot flash super super.img

                              Hello!

                              Background
                              I have a TCL FLIP GO as described in my poster [Login to see the link]
                              I followed the instructions posted in [Login to see the link]

                              I used the ROM: Talk&Text

                              Issue
                              After completing all the steps with no problems, my device now remains stuck on a blue screen with red lettering which says "Free Filtered Software Talk & Text version 1.2"

                              I cannot seem to get past this into the operating system. No buttons seem to have effect. Rebooting manually or with the command line go back to this screen.

                                greek111 I don't believe these roms are compatible with your phone. If you have another phone you could pull the original super.bin and flash it back to your phone to unbrick it.

                                    whynot I was told it was cross compatible but i'm not too concerned if it a lost cause. Am I able to reset it completely without another phone?

                                        greek111 It's only the boot image that is compatible, not the system. A small difference in the system will usually mean the boot image is interchangeable, but the system itself needs to be exactly the same to be interchangeable. Because you replaced the system on your phone, you need to get the original from another phone or from someone who has it.
