Can't access Settings after doing my Rebel 4 Settings mod?
You need to install ListLauncher. This is a launcher that adapts well to flip, and seems to work great.

Prerequisites:
Rebel 4 Settings mod ([Login to see the link])
Enabled "Install unknown apps" for File Manager
This can be enabled for any** installed app within Settings (Rebel 4) > Apps & Notifications > Special access > Install unknown apps.
**You still have to use fake-signed APKs. But sideloading your fake-signed APKs and updating your already-sideloaded APKs works and is also easier as you don't need to use ADB to sideload everything!

Recommendations:
Change internal resolution and DPI ([Login to see the link])

Once all prerequisites are met, go to the LG File Manager and pick this APK from your internal storage or SD card.

After installing, pressing (PWR/END) causes a menu to appear to choose FPHome or ListLauncher.
If you want this menu to appear, you are set. If not, here's how to set it to your preferred Launcher.

Go to Settings (Rebel 4) > Apps & Notifications > Default apps > Home app
Pick ListLauncher or FPHome.
I kept mine set to FPHome due to not being able to open the notification center through ListLauncher,
along with not wanting to have to pick ListLauncher or FPHome every time.

can you give us the bluetooth settings from rebel 4 so a HID bluetooth device ()such as a BT mouse) can be dedected and hopefully connected?

xxdeafgirl can you please also "fake-sign" the original settings app from the classic so if I want it back I should be able to do that ??

xxdeafgirl or either if you can figure out how to set the new settings app in place of the old one (I mean place in menu) or in general how to change the the menu

Its not simple (maybe impossible) to sign the classic system apps but if you have 4a package manager you can uninstall the settings and it will revert back to the original settings

techy I access it using the Apps4Flip launcher.
But with ListLauncher, you can't open the Notification Center easily.

mg5077 You don't need to fake sign the original! Just uninstall updates normally, like you would on Android. Find "Settings" and open the 3 dot menu and uninstall updates.

mg5077 In Settings > Apps and Notifications > "Settings"
There is a 3 dot menu in the top-right corner. You MIGHT need to do my DPI mod first.
And the Classic Flip's system apps work fine with my fix applied.

mg5077 Good, no... GREAT to know!
My DPI fix really makes things feel more at home, and also makes things fit more like a small smartphone!

L-B Yeah, we can't fakesign original but we can just uninstall the Rebel 4's Settings APK using the method I just posted.

                a month later

so can we just install any apk now?
