    Hi1 Did you enable rw for system with /vendor/bin/write_protect 0?
    If you did and you are still facing issues then you wont be the first: Hi1 darth ZTEGuy chaimzalman It works itself out eventually.

              mg5077 I'm getting this error
              /system/bin/sh: /vendor/bin/write_protect: can't execute: Permission denied
              I granted shell the permission in magisc app

                  whynot some how I can't find this file this file any idea?

                      darth I didn't found res/values/bools.xml file in Launcher3-overlay.apk, I only found wallpaper files in there. But Update in XML and repackage APK file is beyond my ability. Thank for the information.

                          Edit: the TCL flip 2 is android 11 so the magisk folder should be in /dev

                          Edit: run adb shell su /vendor/bin/write_protect 0

                                  mailech if you have the mouse installed you can long press and paste or with voice access by saying the word paste

                                        60 days was up yesterday. Finally SIM unlocked & ready to party. 🙂

                                        I noticed the email client doesn't have an Exchange/Active Sync option like the LG Classic Flip does. I wonder if it'd be as simple as pushing the Exchange2 services APK to it & giving permissions? That's worked in the past for me.

                                        I can rip it from an AOSP 11 ROM if someone wants to try.

                                          I just got the 4058L (uscellular) and pulled super and flashed onto t408dl and all seems to be working fine...

                                          does anyone now if it works on hot mobile (israel) after its unlocked

                                            is there a option of copying and pasting without voice access?
                                            and is there a option to add words to my t9 dictionary
                                            and why does the phone come without emojis?

                                              Jackbeast probably YES because I used it in Israel with triple tel and it uses the hot mobile network

                                                  a-one and after 60 days service you called up tracfone and they unlocked it no problem?

                                                        Jackbeast You can unlock it after 60 days online [Login to see the link]. It does work on Hot, although I dont think it has all of the bands so you may not have as good service.

                                                          I try to install the custom ROM linked in the OP, followed the steps, ran MTKMeta 'Reboot Fastboot Mode', plugged in the turned off phone, but it seems that the device is not found.
                                                          any help with that?
                                                          PS, the phone does turn on for a few seconds with the TCL logo, but then turns off. (the battery level is at around 90% charged).

                                                              AShayish Make sure you have mtk drivers installed. Also try plugging the phone in after the battery was removed for a couple seconds.
