klien if you have filter like livigent you cant run commands
and (dont know if you knew this yet but it took me a min to realize) on webadb even if you add a phone you have to press connect to use the shell and then a bunch of letters come up on the shell and then you could use the shell

        I plan to release beginning next week, the following 2 apps, customized for the TCL Flip.

        To start, I have completely rewritten the Hebrew Keyboard. It is customized for the TCL Flip. It integrates well with the built-in keyboard, you switch between the two with a long press #

        Also, I have created a sub-launcher for the TCL Flip. It mimics the tools page in the main launcher. It is for use only on Kosher phones without Browsers, as it installs as the Browser package, so it should show up on the default launcher, and act like the tools menu. By default, it will show all user-installed apps, plus any apps hard coded in the array resource. The user can add/remove apps from the list.

              Flippy Actually, the sspanak version does work on the TCL, albeit with a few bugs. Firstly, even when not typing a t9 word, it still takes over the "ok" button. This means that i cant click "send" directly (in messages), or "save" (in notes). Additionally, it takes over the left softkey. This means that i cant press a contact shortcut number and use the left softkey to "send message". But it does work. And it has the ability to add words to the dictionary.

                  Jumptoheaven and its open source and we can add hebrew. It also allows you to set different key controls for different phones, so we can play around...

                        You should consider opening a new thread, because you actually releasing dedicated apps and software for flips, and it deseveres to not get lost in between other posts. But that's all up to you.

                        And lastly, the main credit for that booter is [Login to see the link]. Well, I made python to exe (one command with pyinstaller), scott made it autodetect posrts, Lgexalter1 made it work a little better for instances of two mtk ports, and yuo fixed all the bugs. point is, i did not much.

                            Dear all, just curious if others have the issue I am facing. Thanks to neutron scott we have a rom that allows installing apk etc... so I disabled browser and installed most of the apps2flip on the site. One thing that's not working is the mouse, does anyone have success on this model with any mouse? While I can get it to appear, it cannot click or drag anything. Also, the button remapper cannot access accessibility menu, as it seems to crash before I can give it permissions. Does anyone think the mouse might also need accessibility permissions which this phone cannot give?

                              pelfman1 You obviously didn't read all 1100+ previous posts 😉
                              The regular mouse from apps4flip has issues with clicking on android 11, so you have to use the boot.img mouse that was made for the tcl flip 2

                                I dont know how to extract from a boot.img, would I need to decompile first? Otherwise do you mean this mouse: [Login to see the link] , if so, does magisk require root? Is there another way to get it?

                                Also, regarding button remaper, any thoughts on getting that to work on the tcl flip2?

                                any way to reverse the process? I wanted to install apks but accidentally followed the thread with a kosher rom instead and now I'm stuck and magisk is not appearing at all no matter the rom I use. Maybe if I can reset it I can get Magisk to appear? Thanks!
