mg5077 Hmmm that's interesting. Seems like tracfone blocked it. Prob to prevent unauthorised carrier unlocking.

Jumptoheaven Actually no, that's just Android's generally weird behavior about permissions.
You need to use my settings app to grant these permissions that -g refuses to. I can sideload from LG File Manager now!
And carrier unlocking is done within the modem firmware itself, and the process is backed by the RPMB partition.
Unauthorized carrier unlocking is extremely hard on almost every device. All I can say to do is keep your Classic Flips for a year and have it on Auto Pay.
Classic Flip works on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon Tracfone SIMs
I have mine on AT&T towers TracFone and it works perfectly. Maybe if your Tracfone brand supports GSM (ATT/TMO) SIM give that a try.

mg5077 Jumptoheaven On the Classic Flip FASTBOOT is nuked. Doesn't exist in the ABOOT. And the Exalt is a device I don't know much about, but considering Verizon's track record, (and the US Unlocked Samsung S7 and up being bootloader locked and signed at VZ's request)
I'm very likely to say it's got no FASTBOOT mode either, and if it does have it,
"fastboot oem unlock" is 98% of the time nuked on VZW phones...
However, holding END and Volume Down doesn't do anything but holding both, letting go of END, and pressing END again triggers a force factory reset. This is especially good for when you mess something up BAD and you can't get back out of it.

xxdeafgirl true unlocking will be near impossible. was referring to recovery options.

di2020 did you get any fix for your problem?
I have 3 classics Which are stuck on the lg screen.
I tried adb commands, different combinations of power and volume keys. Nothing is working. I have adb access on two phones but the package managers is unaccessible. cant seem to work fastboot or any other unbrick programs.

I have 3 classics which are stuck on the lg screen. I ran pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.packageinstaller hoping it would remove the ability to install additional applications. But to my dismay the next time I powered my phone it got stuck on the lg screen?

Did you try that?

OMG it worked Thanks So much!!!!!!!!
For anyone else with this issue when the phone is off power back on holding down the power and volume down. As soon as something comes up on the screen immediately release the power button and quickly repress and hold the power button untill the factory reset settings come up.

Probably because you don't have google play services installed, as is the case with the vast majority of flip phones. Is there any text in the top left corner saying no google play services?
