Techgen Jumptoheaven Interesting enough , if what they're telling me(T-Mobile Tech Support) is true then that would explain to why there's a 10 second delay for outgoing and incoming calls when using a T-Mobile Sim card on this LG Exalt UN220, and the LG Wine2 Unlocked Version.
They previously had one band in common on the 4g lte network with this phone, for the calling and it was the U1900 which basically allowed for the, 4G LTE band to work.
While they still have a 2g band which they still support for calling and that would explain why when making a call on the 4g network it takes a few seconds before the call can go out , as it needs to find a 2g band to make the call, and the same is true when it receives a call needing to find a 2g band for the incoming call.
While I tested it solely on the 2g band and the calling works great, as it's not switching before any of the calls, as it's currently the only working band on that device for T-Mobile.
They mentioned since the new 5g is out they're phasing away the old U1900 Band.
Now I got to try it on a At&t sim to see if it works.
Oh well that takes care of the LG Exalt UN220, And the LG Wine 2.
Never understood the reason to phase a band away, unless it's costing them to run it, and there's no use for it, or most Customers don't use that band anymore?
