    Pictures

To add a picture to your post:

    1. Go to [Login to see the link] and press upload on top (no need for account).
    2. Choose your picture from local files, and leave it on "don't autodelete", (unless you want it to), then press upload
    3. Then, under "embed codes", choose "bbcodes". (The difference between "full linked" and "thumbnail link" is how big you want the picture to be, I have an example of both below.)
    4. Copy the link and paste it straight to Apps4Flip forums

[Login to see the link] Thumbnail linked

[Login to see the link] full linked

    Alternative method:
If you have the link for an image, use

    ![](https://imageurl.example)

This can be easily accessed using the picture icon on bottom when posting.

          Spoilers

          Syntax:
You can add a spoiler using: >! example text
          Example:

You must download the app and install it

          • Go to [Login to see the link] and scroll down to waze
          • click the download link
          • put the file in your internal storage and tap on the file OR put the file in the ADB Folder on your computer and run
            adb install -g waze.apk

          Alternative method:
You can also create a spoiler that looks like this: spoiler by using the spoiler icon on bottom when making a post.

            Line break

To add a line break like the one above, simply make a line with three asterisks.
            Example:

            test
            ***
            test

            Returns:
            test

            test

              Colors

              Syntax:

This is [color=blue]blue[/color] and this is [color=red]red[/color].

              Returns:
This is blue and this is red.

              Tip:
Do not use colors to make your post look cool (like the header of this post), people will not appreciate it. Rather, use it when necessary to make your post look more professional and readable.

If anyone knows good tips, feel free to post. (If anyone feels like I am annoying and getting in the way, please utilize the new thumbs-down button.)

Some may be obvious but here it goes.

                  • When you reply to a post, use the reply button on bottom to get the post linked to yours.

                  • If you just want to mention a user, use the @ symbol to search posts or users as a list.

                  • If you just want to quote a specific part of a post, you can highlight it with your mouse cursor and click "quote"

                    👍️ if this helped you.

                  The bottom editing bar

On the topic of simple and basic tips, it's good to be familiar with the botttom bar:

                  • The eye on the left is to preview the post you are currently writing. On some devices the preview shows automatically, and you don't need to toggle it on.
                  • The H stands for header, and Makes your text bigger than the rest of the post, like the top of this post.
                  • The B makes your text bold.
                  • The I italicizes your text.
                  • The S is for making your text striketrough
                  • The " is to quote something. The quote looks like..

                  This

                  • The ! with a triangle is to create a spoiler that you can click to unhide. Like this. For more information on spoilers, see Biden2020prez .
                  • The </> makes your text appear in code, like this.
                  • The link button maks a link. Put the tile in brackets, and the URL in parentheses. Like this:[Login to see the link]
                  • The picture button puts a picture. just put the link in parentheses and ignore the brackets. For more information about adding a picture to your post, see Biden2020prez.
That's it.Whereever your cursor is after you press each button is where you should type the text.

                  Text Size

Biden2020prez You could also make bigger and smaller header text by adding 1-6 #s at the beginning of each line.

                    Massive

                    Big

                    Standard Size

                    A Bit Smaller

                    On the Small Side
At this point it's just normal text bolded.

                    I typed:
                    # Massive
                    ## Big
                    ### Standard Size
                    #### A Bit Smaller
                    ##### On the Small Side
                    ###### At this point it's just normal text bolded.
